Bloomsburg Defeated West Chester in Men's Soccer

BLOOMSBURG -- The Bloomsburg University men's soccer team defeated West Chester University 3-2 on Saturday in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) game.

West Chester took the lead in the first half with a goal by Mike Pryor off a Frank DeMas assist. Bloomsburg's Chris Tomarelli (Oreland/Springfield) tied the game at one with a goal off the crossbar in the 34th minute.

In the second half, West Chester took the lead six minutes into the half on a goal by Alex Inman. Bloomsburg answered in the 70th minute with Justin McClennan (Wyndmoor/Springfield Twp.) assisting Ambrose Brown (Easton/Don Bosco Tech.). The game winner for the Huskies came from Dan Beshore (Mt. Wolf/Northeastern) just three minutes later.

Jon Keller (Clarks Summit/Abington Heights) saved seven shots for the Huskies while in goal.

The Huskies return to action at home against East Stroudsburg on Wednesday at 5:00 p.m.
